Very clean and well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly.
Especially the kids club was a great experience. It is huge and the best kids club I have seen. And the kids club team around Nim, Opal, May, Wii and Jang make it a great place for kids to play.

I really enjoyed the pool, big enough, not too deep - just right to be sipping a drink while being in the water, reading a book and looking out on the beach.
Easy to get to the airport if you have an early flight.

A lovely, calm place. The room was very spacious and clean. Very comfy bed and excellent wifi. I also liked the tiny balcony which was facing the pool but because of the lush vegetation between the pool and the building there’s ”privacy”. The pool was perfect for my 4-year-old daughter with shallow and deeper sections. I also appreciated the reception staff’s help with everything, e.g. ordering food.

The location is excellent if you're travelling between Donsak and Phuket and you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The supper was superb and the breakfast was adequate. It is certainly not luxury but comfortable enough. We liked the fact that they had a ceiling fan above the bed in case the aircon got too cold. We didn't spend long enough there to explore the surrounding area but it looked like there were nice hiking trails in the area.

Mai Khao beach is relatively cleaner compared to the other more popular beaches in Phuket. It's also less congested and therefore is more suitable for walks and watching sunsets.
We had a Thai dinner at Sunset Restaurant along Mai Kao beach and I would say it was one of the best meals we had while in Phuket. We had sea food tom yum, fried calamari, pandan chicken and fried vegetables. The price came up to less than 1000 baht for the 3 of us inclusive of drinks. Really value for money!

The swimming pool at the resort was amazing.
The swimming pool at the resort was amazing. The biggest I've ever been in and not crowded at all.
The beach had quite dumpy waves that were unsafe for swimming with the 4&6 years old kids we had. The pool was much safer

Mai Khao is a slice of heaven with the most beautiful beaches and clear waters. It is a very quiet area but just what our family needed after the hustle and bustle of the Patong Beach area. We stayed at the JW Marriott for 3 nights.

The only part of the beach that was crowded was the beach near the airport. Otherwise, it was a nice and quiet beach. You can walk a long way on it. It doesn't have white, soft sand but the water was clear and there were no jelly fish.

I have previously stayed at this hotel back in 2019.
I have previously stayed at this hotel back in 2019. Although some parts of the exterior are looking a little bit like a lick of paint and a clean up would help, overall I am very impressed with the stay here. Great room, great staff and fantastic pools to enjoy…
The local beach suffers a bit from washed up plastic and wooden waste, but it’s a great place to enjoy nonetheless.

Massive rooms with nice semi private pool and easy access to main pool. Rooms were well appointed wit large beds, great showers and a bathtub with a view (you’ll need to have the blinds closed before getting in though). They even offered bicycles for getting around the resort and local area.

Great place in Mai Khao. Friendly staff, super-clean rooms, a nice pool. Free bike rental, a 7-Eleven and some great inexpensive restaurants nearby. They offer free airport pick-up (which worked great), so it's the perfect place after arrival or before departure in HKT. We recommend staying a few nights to acclimate and check out the laid-back area like Mai Khao Beach and the restaurants nearby or on-site. The owner also showed us the area with a TukTuk trip, which was a great experience.
Really enjoyed my stay here. The beach in front was much quieter than the other areas I have stayed at in Phuket and I had a clear stretch all to myself. You are close by the viewing point and can walk/cycle/tuk down to where they land for the best shots. Happy hour cocktails were a great price. Free bikes to rent helps to go to local restaurants for cheaper food - there are a few stalls up by the airport which are great. Big comfy room and good bed.
Had the best stay at Melia Phuket. The staff were lovely and very welcoming, the place was nice and quiet and the villas were adequately spaced out. The hotel is relatively new so everything was kept in pristine condition. The room is extremely spacious and feels luxurious. All in all a great stay and I would definitely visit again.
Lovely quiet area.
15 km long sandy beach is near by.
Top notch cleanliness.
Excellent staff.
Thanks a lot, I enjoyed my stay for about 17 nights.
Looking forward to stay next year.
Sorry, almost forgot to mention the size of the room is spacious more like studio than a simple hotel room, which is great.
Large resort hotel with a lot of buildings, swimming pools and restaurants with a nice beach. The diversity of the restaurants is a plus because we can stay a few days and experience different kind of food. The property is very large so we can walk along the beach and try the different swimming pools.
Loved the spacious rooms and private pool access. Nan at the restaurant was simply awesome and her service and attention to detail was amazing. We loved this quiet part of Phuket as we just wanted to rest for a few days before the craziness of Krabi and Patong.
Beautiful landscape, resort feeling with great service. Location is near to the airport without the hassle of going through traffic. Hotel was helpful arranging taxi to go out for dinner at local restaurants and sight seeing. Great value for money.
Breakfast had a broad selection covering a wide variety of food types from Asian and western cuisine. Coffee is typical hotel standard, very crowded but when you check in they advise you on least crowded times.
Avani Stuff professionallity can’t compete any other hoteleven the biggest names this tis the second Avani hotel worldwide i staying in and i know what exactly how they are kind, nice frofriendly
Perfect hotel, great receptionist, indeed friendly accommodation with very nice pool. Beach, close to Phuket airport, is surprisingly excellent. 15 min to Phuket airport.
Close to airport, very good water park entry included, beautiful beach pool, food for kids and adults. Value for money, out side the hotel can find drink, food, massage
Fabulous hotel for family with excellent facilities.
Apartment was spacious with all needed equipment for cooking and laundry.
